1964 Borgogno Barolo Riserva, Damaged Label

Quite pale in coulour. The nose is fresh and complex with notes of smoke, game, chestnut, earth and something sweet and vinous. The palate is all umami goodness. It is ethereal and engaging with all sorts of sweet and savoury nuance. The finish is clean, dry and long. JH 2024
