1974 Prunotto Barolo Riserva

Has plenty of mushroom and truffle along with earth, tar, menthol, nuts and leather. There is vinous sweetness but the flavour profile quickly defaults to all things savoury. It is a fresh wine with good depth and lively acidity and some tannic chew carrying the finish. JH 2018
