1975 Cappellano Barolo

Classic old school Barolo. Tar and roses greet the nose along with some truffle and Indian spice development. It has plenty of balsamic punching all sorts of savoury nuance up into the nostrils. The palate is heady, has power and chewy fruits flavours. Tannins are relatively relaxed and acidity still brisk. Gets better and better with air and a joy to drink. JH 2023
