1978 Bianco Aldo Barbaresco

An excellent year for Barbaresco. An engaging nose of decaying rose, leather, Indian spice and balsamic. There are dried fruit flavours and tarry/ savoury traits. It has a sweet/vinous heart, moderate tannic chew and bright acidity. A very nice drink.  JH 2023
