1982 Fratelli Oddero Barolo

Ripe and heady, with notes off raisins steeped in brandy, bitter chocolate, tar and cardamom. It is a little rustic and chunky, but certainly complex and engaging, with all sorts of meat and iron nuance. There's plenty of spice. loads of balsamic volatility and a finish that is vital and long. JH 2023.
