This was a beautiful bottle. The nose offers up some smoke, violets, truffle, cedar, tar and spiced plum. The palate is full, rich and powerful but remains light on its feet. There’s so much mid-palate flesh and you get complex floral, fruit and earth nuance. It has great drive and really fans out on the finish, possessing outstanding length of flavour. JH 2018
