1997 Moccagatta Barbaresco Basarin

Dark red-ruby color. Knockout nose combines currant, violet, tar and mint; smells concentrated! Then intensely flavored and strong in extract, with thick fruit and a minty note. But very youthful and backward. Finishes with strong but evenly distributed tannins and outstanding persistence.
