2011 Domaine Pichot Vouvray Trie de Grains Nobles Les Larmes de Bacchus

A deep golden colour. Huge nose of toffee apple, smoke, apricot, honey and lavender. It is so rich and sweet, pouring out like treacle. The rapier acidity of Chenin keeps everything tucked in. It is luscious and layered, with so much flavour intensity. The finish simply drives on and on. JH 2023
