2012 Champagne Colin Les Grandes Terres Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru MAGNUM

This is 100% Chardonnay off the Grand Cru vineyards of Cramant and Oiry.  A Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne from a great producer and year. I recall James Halliday telling us at a dinner a few years ago that one of his only regrets is to have not bought more Champagne in Magnum. It really is the perfect format for aging.
