This cuvee comes from the blue slate soils of the steep (75%) slope sites of Brauneberg. Short skin contact with gentle pressing then ageing 5 months on lees yielded this wine with 14.0 g/l RS and 7.5 g/l TA 12.0% alc.‘It offers a beautiful and delicately ample nose of white peach, pear, white flowers, whipped sour cream and minty elements. The wine is beautifully playful and elegant on the creamy yet delicately racy palate. The finish is superbly tart and persistent. This is a great effort with the depth of a top-end dry Riesling.’ 92 points, Mosel Fine Wines.
