Perfectly ripe, with pure cherry and cassis fruits. It has some tobacco and earth and also the scent of violets with air. It is textural, fleshy and layered. There's good structural support and balance is perfect. It is all here for serious aging, yet there's plenty of pleasure to be derived now. JH 2024
