You are first greeted with a wall of structure. It breathes up beautifully in the glass to show a core of bright cherry and raspberry fruits. There's the scent of fresh roses and all sorts of savoury nuance. It has the perfect amount of flesh, underpinned by chalky tannins. Balance and length are superb. You just know it is going to age for decades but it is delightful now. JH 2023
