2019 Olivier Merlin Mâcon La Roche Vineuse Les Cras

This cuvée is from old vines planted on a steep, south-facing site with high limestone content. It has intense, sappy orchard fruits and oozes minerality. There’s real weight and power with a lightness of hand and the chalky structure of the vintage carries the long finish. It should age particularly well.  JH 2025
