2020 Domaine de Chatillon Chardonnay Vin de Savoie

Sealed under screwcap and drinking right in the zone. It has a nose of orchard fruits, gruyere cheese and smoky mineral. The palate is savoury and dry, with all sorts of interesting flavours. It has a slatey/mineral and waxy lemon notes and finishes fresh and vital. Domaine de Chatillon is a 7.25 hectare vineyard on the northern bank of the Lac de Bourget, France’s largest freshwater lake.  JH 2024
