2020 Domaine Michel Rebourgeon Pommard 1er Cru Les Charmots Magnum

This vineyard is so stony and there is no tractor access, everything is done by hand. It was super-low yielding in 2020 so the Rebourgeon team decided to bottle in Magnum only. Just 150 Magnums produced. It is a deep wine, with intense cherry, red berry and licorice aromas and flavours. It has a creamy mid-palate and great mineral detail. It is bright and energetic with superb persistence. JH 2022
