The aroma engages straight away. Black fruits, licorice, menthol and graphite. Rich and creamy, luscious and powerful. So much flesh, with gravely tannins supporting. A big wine but not heavy. Layered and super long. This is off an old vineyard planted in 1969. JH 2024
