Superripe aromas of plum, spices, marzipan and nuts. Full, sweet and plummy, with good depth of flavor. Like the Margheria and the Marenca, not particularly primary, but this is classic Barolo. The dusty tannins reach the front teeth.91 points. Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.
