The Premier Cru plot of Beauroy is south east facing on the west bank of the Serien with thin , pebbly limestone soil and blue clay with Kimmeridgian sub soil. Fermentaion in temperature controlled stainlees steel 75% and the balance of 25% fermeted in oak barrels. The wine continues to rest in the same vessels for 10 months on fine lees. The sunny aspect produces wines with a generosity on the palate , more fruit driven than floral & very attractive in their youth. JH 2023
