2021 Domaine Francois Carillon Aligote

A very aligoté nose displays notes of green apple, spice and citrus wisps. There is both fine intensity and surprisingly good density to the plump and round flavors given that this had normal yields, all wrapped in a punchy, clean and dry finale. This is a quality effort for the genre and worth a look. 87 points. Burghound.
