The 2021 Bourgogne Rouge, containg 50% whole bunches, doesn't need much aeration to reveal quite juicy blackcurrant and bilberry scents; somehow, it's quite steely. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tanninc, nicely structured and rateher bold for a Bourgogne Rouge, with a sweet cassis finish. Modern in style perhamp, but certainly well crafted. 85-87 points. Vinous.
