2021 Domaine Louis Claude Desvignes MORGON Château Gaillard

Derives from a one-hectare parcel of old massal selection vines located within the climat of Douby and in its first year of organic certification. Wafting from the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries, plums and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, with ripe but youthfully chewy tannins and a long, sapid finish. It's a fine addition to the domaine's range of singularly age-worthy Morgon bottlings. 93+ points. William Kelley.
