Off the Grand Chaliot ‘Picked on the 29th at 12.7%. Still in barrel, after a late malolactic, will rack in January. A lovely solid deep red purple with a wealth of fruit. Good wine from a sound vintage one would say. Red fruit with good acidity supported by some darker notes behind. Lots of little brown ferruginous stones here in the clay. Lovely aftertaste.’ 87-89 Points Jasper Morris M.W.
