2021 Nals-Margreid Alto Adige-Südtirol Sand Lagrein

This is a deeply pitched, savoury wine that offers plenty of complexity and pleasure. It has a core of maraschino cherry and some licorice and ironstone. It is rich and layered through the mid-palate and has intriguing savoury nuance. It is a power pack of flavour, but light on its feet and finishes clean, bright and long.  JH 2024
