This bottling steps up a gear in '21, showing intense cherry fruit with some licorice and rose petals on the nose. The palate is rich and creamy, yet poised. There's a cool stoniness under the considerable flesh and tannins are perfectly ripe and supportive. There's a lot of wine here. JH 2023
