Drinking beautifully. It is a lovely, mid-weight, fruit driven Shiraz. Ripe berry and plum fruits have a strand of licorice weaving through the flavour profile. It has some pepper and spice and is silky and plush of texture. The finish is bright and energetic, and length is good. The vineyard was planted with cuttings off the famous ‘Old Bastard’ vineyard planted in 1893. JH 2025
