Made from Estate grown fruit, 60% Sangiovese, 20% Syrah and 20% Ciliegiolo. Many of you know how good this Chianti producer is. It is a pure wine of no artifice. Perfumed, berry/cherry fruits with a touch of tobacco and earth. Nice flesh in the mouth and a perfect balance between fruit and savoury elements. There's a grind of black pepper and fresh acidity that carries the finish. It has lovely balance and is simply a delicious drink. JH 2024
