The nose is engaging, with notes of menthol, licorice root, blood plum and black olive. The palate is rich and fleshy. Creamy through the mid and savoury of nuance. It has power and weight but remains light on its feet and balance is terrific. The finish is carried by perfectly ripe tannins and minerally acidity. JH 2024
