2022 Failla Olivet Ranch Chardonnay

The 2022 Failla Olivet Ranch Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) has an open-knit and engaging nose of white peach, mandarin, almond butter and a whiff of toast. It is full and layered in the mouth, with a creamy feel against the gums. There’s good presence and volume, and nice acid balance. It is a real charmer with enough depth to age over the mid-term. It is the qualitative equal of very good 1er Cru white Burgundy.  JH 2024
