There's a whiff of gunflint to the aroma, along with notes of nectarine, white peach, pollen and aniseed spice. It weighs in at a modest 12% alcohol but lacks no flavour. The wine doesn't go through malo, but has creaminess of fruit through the mid palate. It is silky and textural and finishes with citrus freshness. JH 2024
