This is densely packed and explosive Chardonnay, Italy’s Bâtard perhaps? Loaded with sappy, orchard fruits. It has a whiff of smoky mineral and some spice too. It is unctuous through the mid-palate and so fresh and direct. The finish powers on and on. JH 2024
