Has a vibrant, deep purple colour. There's a wealth of blood plum and blackberry fruits on the nose. It has some tobacco, mint and earth too. In the mouth it is deep and rich and flavours glide around the palate. It is powerful but carries no excess fat or weight. There's excellent detail and a fresh, expansive and long finish. This would give many a Pomerol wine at 3-5 times the price, a good run for their money. JH 2025
