2023 Domaine Les Capreoles l’Amourgandise Beaujolais

The AOC of Beaujolais-Lantignié sits just to the east of the Côte de Brouilly. This is pure, bright and vibrant Gamay. It has such delicious strawberry and raspberry fruits. It has some floral spice and earthy nuance and is so silky against the gums.  It is one of those red wines that simply puts a smile on your dial. It is a wine that drinks so well young or ages well. We tasted the 2016 at the Domaine and it is developing beautifully, so you can age these over the mid-term if you like.  JH 2024
