NV Louis de Grenelle Saumur Ivoire Brut

70% Chenin Blanc, 20% Chardonnay, 10% Grolleau. An enticing aperitif sparkling wine. the nose opens up to evoke citrus flowers and green apples. Fresh and piquant bubbles allow the green apple to carry through to the palate. There are some lovely layers to the wine, after the initial sip, the wine reveals apricot, citrus (lime) and a classic creamy finish. Some underlying notes of hazelnuts creep up towards the end, supporting a salty lick. LH 2025
